The Hollywood couple, Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie's foundation has announced a 2 million dollars donation to Global Health Committee for setting up a TB and HIV/AIDS clinic in Ethiopia. This will help to treat the affected children.
Ironically, the clinic has been named Zahara, thier eldest daughter adopted from teh same country, Ethiopia.
According to People magazine, Jolie was qouted to express her desire to transfer the success they have had in Cambodia where people are needlessly dying of TB, a curable disease and HIV/AIDS is a treatabel one.
Zahara clinic centre would also concentrate on TB, a disease taht accounts for nearly 2 million deaths in a year, and is the main source of death in children and AIDS in adults worldwide.
Earlier the couple have announced that they will give $1m through their foundation to help Sudanese refugees of the Darfur crisis.
Jolie has also visited Sudan three times, and is a Goodwill Ambassador for the UNHCR, which is working to help those displaced by the fighting.
